Monitor Finish Enclosure

I used NBL Cherry veneer to finish the enclosure. The pictures don't do justice to the final speakers, but here are two side views of the finished speaker. Click either picture for a larger image.

Veneering the speakers was a long, tedious job and after doing the front pair I decided to paint the many of the speakers (I'm building 12 total, 6 veneered and 6 painted). It's not that hard to veneer, it's just very time consuming and detail oriented. You veneer each face individually and after applying the veneer you need to wait for the glue to nearly dry, then remove the cauls and clamps, trim the veneer and glue then go on to the next face.  One speaker enclosure takes about 24 hours elapsed.
