Welcome to the Media Converter 2 download page.

This program converts videos into formats that the Nokia N800/810 can deal with. This is based off of Media Converter at the garage, but is significantly enhanced to produce smaller, smoother videos..

There isn't much help at the moment.

Clip A: 400x240 900K

Clip B: 560x336 1M

This is freeware.

The standard resolution for an N800 or N810 video is 400x240 or half-resolution. The built-in Media Player handles these well.

Higher resolutions can be used but at the cost of ocassional skips and sometimes they require MPlayer for the extra performance.

Both devices have a 15:9 screen aspect ratio at 800x480.
